Overview of the 360 Degree Feedback
As a leader, public perception is your reality, and the only way to uncover public perception is to ask for feedback from the people who know you best-your colleagues, bosses, direct reports and even friends and family members. Through a formal and confidential assessment process known as the 360 Degree Feedback, a leader's blind spots can be pinpointed and quantifiable data can be collected on the gap in leadership, business and interpersonal skills.
The 360 Degree Feedback process has been used for decades in organizations around the world. It is a multi-source feedback, multi-rater assessment, upward feedback or peer evaluation designed to give you a panoramic view of your leadership capabilities. It is a process in which you evaluate yourself on a set of criteria, your manager or supervisor will then evaluate you, as do your peers and direct reports. Upon completion of the assessment, you will receive a gap analysis detailing how you perceive yourself versus how others perceive you.
